Reviews for Mitsubishi WD-82738 82-Inch 3D DLP HDTV (Electronics) Spent the day prior to this setting up our new Mitsubishi 82" WD-82738. First off, the TV used to be packed very effectively, no harm and one heck of an immense field. Having personaled DLP TV's in the past I can in truth say that is with the support of a long method the goodst one we've got ever owned. The picture is shiny and clear and taking into account how the associated fees for one of these large TV have transform so inexpensive I would rate this TV as a cut price.
Things that I had issues with have been minor but I am going to mention them. For the first hour after plugging in the TV I didn't have sound. I had a super picture however it doesn't subject what I did with the sound atmospheres on the TV it failed to produce sound. Since my most effective input was once my satellite tv for pc receiver I was oncen't sure if it used to be the receiver or the TV... so I related it to the Internet. Again, no sound. At this level I used to be able to name Mitsubishi after I learn a little bit paragraph on the rear quilt web page of the install guide.... SYSTEM RESET. Held the facility howeverton in for 10 2nds and when the TV restarted... it had SOUND! I suppose it may smartly be nice if they would have made this a little extra obtrusive... used to beted quite a lot of time diagnosing earlier than I realized that this was once one thing that wanted to be executed.
Only different terrible... it says in the Specification Sheet that it has an OPTICAL Digital Audio Output... it's not Optical... or if it is it sure doesn't seem like my different optical connections or cables that I already own. But it is getting connected to a surround sound machine so I wager this selection isn't that vital... however they will have to alternate this in the advertising.
Reviews for Mitsubishi WD-82738 82-Inch 3D DLP HDTV (Electronics) Great picture out of the box the use of the standard atmosphere with warm white. Using devices I discovered about on AVsforum a few 12 monthss back I was once in a position to calibrate this set to virtually excellent specs. The Advanced consumer menus made the job very straightforward and the know-how that this set has built into it made it conceivable to get the calibration almost precisely the place the trade specs say it will have to be. The image is now gorgeous, the placeas out of the box it was just excellent. Go right here for extra knowledge.

Reviews for Mitsubishi WD-82738 82-Inch 3D DLP HDTV (Electronics) Have had the TV for ~2 weeks now and have not been able to look in advance to more than about an hour primes, and getting shorter. Apparently there's one thing fallacious with the bulb/ballast. The picture just drops out and the golf green indicator turns strong pink. The e book says trade the bulb. After the run round with Mitsu it took 5 days to get a brand new bulb and that did now not work. Now I truly have to wait some other ~4-5 days minimal to have a tech come out to have a appear at the set. This was once a typical drawback a couple years in the past, would have thought they'd have mounted it via now. Unless I'm simply fortunate and acquired the one unhealthy apple.
